[Adventurer's Guide] Black Shrine: Hwanghae (Party) | Black Desert NA/EU (2025)

Party and Equipment

Unlike the Black Shrine in Donghae, the one in Hwanghae requires parties of five Adventurers to work together. Parties for this feature can be made with friends or guild members.
The leader of a party is the one that starts the encounter, and the party's ranking is recorded, allowing for ranking rewards like with Black Shrine (Solo).

Also differently from Donghae's, this Black Shrine uses your character's full equipment stats.

Accordingly, the existing sun, moon, and earth attributes are utilized in a different manner. Each Adventurer participating in the encounter needs to select one (sun, moon, or earth). If you select the sun one, it is advantageous for those wanting to deal with the boss as quickly as possible, so you can use it to compete in ranking. The more moon attributes you have in the party, the more it will help your survival in battle. Lastly, the number of earth attributes the party has increases the number of retries you have if you fail to defeat the boss.

Important!
Buffs your character may have before entering a Black Shrine (Party) encounter may be deleted upon entering this content feature.

Weekly Attempts

You have 5 weekly attempts per family to defeat the bosses of the Black Shrine (Party). If you successfully defeat the bosses at each difficulty (normal or hard), it will be deducted from your total count. (Resets at Midnight on Sunday)

If a boss at a certain difficulty is successfully defeated, the number of attempts will not be deducted even if you challenge them again with the same character, at the same difficulty.
Note that the number of attempts will not be deducted if you are defeated or forfeit.

If all five weekly attempts have been used, you can continue to challenge the difficulty you have successfully cleared, and your highest record will be reflected in your party ranking.

The ranking is updated daily at 00:00 (server time).

Please note that these conditions apply only to the same character and party who has successfully defeated a boss. If you proceed to defeat the bosses with a different character or party, it will be deducted from your total number of weekly attempts.

Difficulty

The difficulty is divided into Normal and Hard levels. The attack power (AP) is set to 300 for Normal, and 330 for Hard.

The difficulty of the encounters is not that more difficult in comparison to Atoraxxion (Elvia), but you need to figure out the patterns of each encounter to be able to properly succeed.

Important!
The difficulty and your stats for Black Shrine (Party) are not affected by the light orbs you use in Black Shrine (Solo). Instead, you use 100% of your equipment's statistics.

Rewards

All the bosses share both guaranteed and random rewards in both normal and hard difficulties, with one exception.
Defeating each different boss in the Hard difficulty may reward you with a Deboreka accessory enhanced up to DUO. Depending on the boss you have defeated, the accessory type is different.

Guild Rewards

In addition to the rewards explained above, if Adventurers belonging to the same guild form a party and successfully defeat bosses, all guild members can obtain additional rewards according to the recorded ranking.

When a party of 5 belonging to the same guild successfully subjugates a boss of the Black Shrine (Party), the following rewards will be paid to all guild members according to the recorded ranking for each challenge difficulty.

Rewards from defeating these bosses are distributed every Sunday at around 00:00~00:10 server time, the same as with Black Shrine (Solo).

Normal Difficulty Rewards

In the case of Normal difficulty, the guilds ranked 1st to 50th will additionally receive the rewards of the 9th rank level, and the items that can be obtained are the following.

Weekly Quest – Ember of the Primordial

A powerful dark energy begins to be felt in the Black Shrine. You can accept the quest "Great Darkness Covering the Black Shrine" through the Black Spirit (hotkey: , ).
Upon completion, you will receive x1 Ember of the Primordial as a reward.

This quest is a weekly quest and can be completed once a week per family.
This quest can be completed by defeating a boss on the Hard difficulty.
