Hi, since few weeks I have an issue regarding audio in the game. As title reads, whenever I load the game I experience no audio. Audio on my pc is functioning as expected, drivers for audio are up to date, Darktide is set in the sound mixer to be playing, darktide in game settings are set to stereo. It’s this way even after 3 reinstalls. Steam Platform

3 feb 2024 · The only steam game that has sound is SpaceHulk:Deathwing using proton 6.3-8. I'm using Mint 21.3 Cinnamon. I'm using a external usb soundcard.
Hi, i searched all over the internet about this and found some answers but none worked for me. The only steam game that has sound is SpaceHulk:Deathwing using proton 6.3-8. I'm using Mint 21.3 Cinnamon. I'm using a external usb soundcard, internet browser got sound, daw got sound, everything works except for steam games. I am using pulseaudio and jackd and even if jack is on or off there is no sound in games so i'm thinking jackd is not causing any troubles. Oh, there was a steam game that had sound only for the first time playing it called The Messenger after quitting it.....no sound.

Space Hulk Deathwing Enhanced Edition doesn't feel enhanced. The gunplay and enemies are boring, the story isn't interesting and the crashes (on PlayStation 4) are very frustrating.
